Our Ministries
Grace Chapel Fellowship celebrates 25 years of dedicated service to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, in a rich tradition of Holy Scripture immersion on Sundays and Wednesdays as we explore His Word in order to become more present and fully-active Christians dedicated to God's plan for our lives. Please consider helping/joining/supporting one of our other ministries.
Scripture informs us that as Christians we "are light in the Lord" and we should "live as children of light, for the fruit that the light produces consists of every form of goodness, righteousness, and truth" (Matthew 7:16-17; Ephesians 5:8-9). "Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers" (Galatians 6:10).

Children's Ministry
Because children are a gift from God, it is incumbent on us to “start children off on the way they should go, [so] even when they are old they will not turn from it” (Proverbs 22:6). Grace Chapel Fellowship’s Children’s Ministry is about drawing children to Jesus by impressing upon them the Holy Scriptures. Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children” (Matthew 11:25). At Grace Chapel Fellowship, we value how God reveals Himself through the children of our church, but this is combined with teaching children to honor their parents and authority figures, so “that it may go well with them and they may enjoy long life on the earth (Ephesians 6:1-3). Grace Chapel Fellowship uses God-inspired teaching to lovingly correct and redirect behaviors.
Marriage
Preparations
"Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus, Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord .... Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish" (Ephesians 5:20-22; 25-27).

Women's
Ministry
Grace Chapel Fellowship will be holding periodic luncheons/dinners for the women of our church during the school year. Please check the September calendar for future events.
Missionary Support
“And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 16:16-17).
Dear Friends,
I pray and hope you are all well. Thank you again to all who labor with us and support the work we do in Africa.
As we said in our previous newsletter, this has been our 12th year running the school. During this time, we have been able to reach many pastors and leaders in different parts of the country. Please continue to remember the graduates from Burkina Faso in your prayers.

Outreach Ministry
The Kookie Fountain Foundation (led by Annetta Edwards) along with Grace Chapel Fellowship volunteers delivered toys, provided food, music ministry and a special sermon given by our own Pastor, Michael G. Patlan, during the Christmas holiday on December 7, 22, and 23 to the Open Door Mission and the Galveston Outreach to the Homeless. Thanks to all our faithful donors for their sacrificial giving and charity in supplying much needed support for these events.

Ephesians 2:10 says, “We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” We serve and volunteer confidently, knowing that God has prepared the way for us!

Thanks to donations from Grace Chapel Fellowship and the Kookie Fountain Foundation, 22 students from Jake Silbernagel Elementary School in Dickinson, Texas have their 2023 school supplies.

Grace Chapel Fellowship and the Kookie Fountain Foundation join other churches on Saturdays in Galveston for Galveston Street Ministry 2023 in order to bring God's Word, song, much needed spiritual uplifting and supplies to the homeless.
